The ULTRAFORMER III is a skin tightening and lifting treatment which can be customised to treat areas of concern, such as the forehead, brow, chin, and neck. The contouring device delivers targeted ultrasound energy to the deeper layers of the skin, triggering a natural healing response. This process stimulates collagen production, leading to tighter, lifted skin.

How it works
ULTRAFORMER III uses highly sophisticated Micro-Focused Ultrasound energy to rejuvenate the three critical levels of your skin’s infrastructure. Micro-Focused Ultrasound sends bursts of finely tuned ultrasound energy to precise depths to stimulate regeneration. The target tissues are heated to the specific temperature required to induce ‘thermal injury’, which causes the collagen to contract, and then, over time, to produce new and stronger collagen. Collagen fibers help tighten and firm the skin, resulting in a more lifted appearance.
A regular treatment program every 6-12 months will maintain your results, and is likely to also give you some additional improvement after each subsequent treatment.

The degree of heat required for optimal results could cause some discomfort as the ultrasound energy is delivered.
A clear gel is applied to the treatment area. This gel helps facilitate the transmission of the ultrasound energy and provides a smooth surface for the treatment applicator. As the device is applied to the skin, patients might feel brief pulses of ultrasound energy being delivered to specific depths within the skin. Patients might also experience a warming sensation during the procedure.
The treatment takes approximately 45 - 60 minutes to perform on one area such as the face or neck. A regular program of treatment every 6 to 12 months will maintain your results.

Expectations:
• You will experience a feeling similar to mild sunburn for 1-2 hours following the treatment including redness, heat and skin dryness.
• You will feel an immediate tightening of your skin in the treated area, as the heat from the Micro-Focused Ultrasound contracts the network of collagen fibres.
• Mild redness might occur in the treated area, similar to a flushed appearance. This is a normal reaction and usually subsides within a few hours.
Downtime:
• There is minimal downtime for this treatment.
• More obvious and long term results will become more evident over time. Ultraformer III benefits will peak between six and nine months after treatment.
• The new collagen produced will be stronger, and its structure more ‘youthful’ than previously. This in turn makes your skin stronger and better supported, helping to reverse the effects of ageing on your skin.
