Dr Janet Kim is an Australian trained specialist dermatologist providing medical, surgical and procedural dermatology care to her patients. She grew up in Perth and completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia, graduating with Honours, and subsequently obtained her specialist qualification from the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2019. Dr Kim’s dermatology training and consultant work has been across several metropolitan hospitals, rural clinics and private dermatology clinics in South Australia, Northern Territory, Western Australia and Victoria.
She received a post-fellowship Florence Bequest Grant to undertake clinical observerships in tertiary hospitals in Seoul, South Korea in areas of medical and procedural dermatology. Dr Kim has authored and reviewed for the Australasian Journal of Dermatology, and has also enjoyed voluntary medical work locally and internationally.
Dr Kim strives to provide patient-centered care and values education and preventation to optimise health outcomes. She enjoys the breadth of general medical and procedural dermatology, and is available to consult on a broad range of conditions.
