Dr Leila Radfar is a renowned doctor in Balwyn with a special interest in Women’s health, Children’s health, Aged care and Chronic Disease Management. She performs minor surgical procedures with precision. She emphasises on a healthy lifestyle and advises her patients to have a good sleep, healthy diet and remain active. Dr Radfar completed a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Islamic Azad University in 2004. After relocating to Australia, she received her certification from the Australian Medical Council (AMC) in 2012. She started working in Bacchus Marsh as a general practitioner in 2013 due to her keen interest in Preventative Medicine and Primary Health Care. She obtained her fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2016.

Alongside English, Leila is fluent in French and Persian, which allows her to easily communicate with a diverse clientele. She has trained at major metropolitan hospitals with training rotations across Cardiology, plastic surgery and Neurosurgery. She was an Emergency and Trauma registrar at the Royal Melbourne Hospital prior to completing General Practice training. She has always had a special interest in preventative medicine and primary health care. In 2013 she started working as a GP in Victoria and specialises in skin cancer screening and treatment as well as womens and elderly health.
