Professor Greg Goodman’s research article titled ‘Photoaging and Cosmeceutical Solutions in Sun-Overexposed Countries: The Experience of Australia and Brazil,’ has recently been published in the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.

The article explores how skin aging is influenced by the complex interplay of genetic predisposition and environmental factors, particularly sun exposure. It focuses on sun-intensive regions like Australia and Brazil, examining the specific characteristics of photoaged skin observed in these populations through Australian studies. Additionally, it explores effective treatments popular in Brazil, a country experienced in managing sun-damaged skin to enhance appearance and prevent malignant lesions.

Conveniently located just 7km from Melbourne’s CBD, our practice is easily accessed by Public Transport.
Parking: Free 2-hour on-street parking is available in Howitt Street or at the rear of the practice in McKillop Street.
Public Transport: We’re a short walk from Hawksburn Station. You can also take the number 72 tram and get off at Hobson Street. Buses 603 or 604 stop at the corner of Malvern Road & Hobson Street.
