Assoc. Prof. Greg Goodman MBBS (Hons) GRADDIPCLINEPI FACD
Assoc. Prof. Goodman is the principle dermatologist of DIV and has been a practising dermatologist for more than 20 years. His areas of speciality include skin cancers, Mohs micrographic surgery, lasers in dermatology, cosmetic dermatology and the treatment of acne and post-acne scarring. He holds the position of Chief of Surgery at the Skin and Cancer Foundation. A national trainer for numerous temporary dermal fillers, he is also a valued member of several international editorial boards and advisory committees. He has always had a keen interest in skin care and skin therapeutics, and has published extensively on acne and post-acne scarring and the use of muscle relaxant injections and lasers.
Dr Lee-Mei Yap MBBS (Hons) FACD
Dr Yap graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne and comes from a broad background in dermatology. In addition to her private practice, she is a consultant dermatologist at the Alfred and St Vincent’s hospitals and the Skin and Cancer Foundation of Victoria. Her areas of expertise and research interests include cutaneous lymphomas, biologic therapies for skin disorders and the treatment of excessive sweating. She has a special interest in laser therapy for photorejuvenation and vascular lesions, muscle relaxant injections and a variety of temporary dermal fillers.
Dr Vanessa Morgan MBBS FACD
Dr Morgan is a general dermatologist and visiting consultant at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (general dermatology), Royal Children’s Hospital (general dermatology and laser dermatology) and the Skin and Cancer Foundation. She has a keen interest in paediatric dermatology, in laser therapy for birthmarks, and in managing skin cancer. She welcomes all referrals.
Dr Katherine Armour MBChB FACD
Dr Armour is a graduate from the University of Otago and a visiting dermatologist at the Alfred Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. She comes from a broad background in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and has a special interest in biologic agents for skin disease, immunobullous disorders and urticaria. She specialises in skin rejuvenation, including muscle relaxant injections, temporary dermal fillers and laser therapy.
Dr Anina Fitzgibbon MBBS FACD
Dr Fitzgibbon comes from a broad background in dermatology and has a keen interest in general dermatology. She specialises in eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea and mole screening, and has completed a PhD on the effects of smoking on the skin. She has worked extensively for the Victorian Melanoma Service at the Alfred Hospital and has consulted at St Vincent’s Hospital. Dr Fitzgibbon welcomes all referrals.
Dr Cara Mcdonald MBBS FACD
Dr McDonald comes from a varied background in dermatology with a keen interest in medical dermatology, the treatment of skin cancer, as well as anti-ageing techniques and cosmeceuticals. Dr McDonald welcomes new referrals
Dr wendy liu MBBS FACD
Dr Liu comes from a broad background in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is currently a consultant dermatologist at Monash Medical Centre. Her research interests and area of expertise lies in the early detection and molecular therapy of melanoma and skin cancers. She also has a keen interest in inflammatory dermatoses and skin rejuvenation. She welcomes new referrals.
General Practitioners
Dr Martine Apikian MBBS FRACGP
Dr Apikian is a cosmetic physician specialising in scar treatments. She has a special interest in keloidal, hypertrophic and post-acne scarring and works closely with Assoc. Prof. Goodman at developing and implementing new treatment modalities. Dr Apikian is also a highly skilled injector of muscle relaxant products and a variety of temporary dermal fillers.
Dr Stefania Roberts MBBS FRACGP FACP
Dr Roberts is a phlebologist and experienced cosmetic physician specialising in all aspects of leg vein treatment, muscle relaxant injections and temporary dermal filler technology. She performs microsclerotherapy, ultrasound guided sclerotherapy, endovenous laser therapy for treating varicose veins and laser treatment of vascular lesions. She is also on a number of advisory committees for cosmetic uses of muscle relaxant injections and is a national trainer for various cosmetic injectable products. Dr Roberts is also the chair and public relations officer for the Australasian College of Phlebology.
Dr Fiona Milne MBBS FRACGP
Dr Milne has a background in general practice and is an experienced cosmetic physician and surgical assistant. She is a skilled injector specialising in muscle relaxant injections and temporary dermal filler technology. She has a special interest in the non-surgical rejuvenation of the face using injectables. Dr Milne is also on a number of advisory boards and is currently a trainer for various dermal fillers.
Procedure nurses
Kristin Campbell RN
Kristin Campbell is an experienced cosmetic nurse practitioner and comes from a broad background in critical and peri-operative care. Vascular and pigmentation laser treatments and fractional resurfacing are her areas of specialty, most notably the Gemini and Fraxel Laser Treatments. Working closely with Assoc. Prof. Goodman during her consultations, Kristin focuses on devising treatment plans that are tailored to suit each patient's medical or cosmetic concerns.
Katy Wallace RN
One of the DIV's senior cosmetic nurse practitioners, Katy Wallace trained extensively overseas in the cosmetic domain of surgery and dermatology and has over 11 years experience in the field. Katy has expertise with the latest in laser technology and injecting techniques, and has been actively involved in research trials. She also plays an instrumental role in the development of the DIV's personalised treatment plans.
Rose Sorbera RN
Rose Sorbera is an experienced cosmetic nurse practitioner. Coming from a background in dermal therapy, Rose is highly skilled with the use of chemical peels, microdermabrasion and fractional laser resurfacing. She also works closely with our team of dermatologists at devising treatment plans for acne and sun damage concerns.
